Please join us for this 6 WEEK workshop, where you will learn new skills and develop "tools" to refine your parenting technique.  This workshop is appropriate for raising children of ALL AGES, as the topics are applicable to your specific parenting needs. This is an open and accepting environment, knowing that the job of parenting is 'on-the-job' training. 

Topics include:

1. DISCIPLINE : What is it? * Why is it necessary? * How to apply a positive approach.

2. COMMUNICATION: Communicating with children across the ages * Tools for opening the door.

3. CO-PARENTING : Working as a team with your partner * Co-Parenting after Divorce * The child's perspective.

4. DRUGS & ALCOHOL : When to have the 'discussion' * Effects of our culture * Signs a child is using.

5. BULLYING: Teaching respect * Being Involved * When to seek help * Is your kid a bully?

6. SEX: Responding to a “sexualized society” * Honesty vs. Ignorance * Keeping your child safe.

HOW TO REGISTER

THIS IS AN ON-GOING, REVOLVING WORKSHOP, COVERING ALL SIX TOPICS.  REGISTRATION IS OPEN (BASED ON AVAILABILITY) AND YOU ARE FREE TO ATTEND ONE SESSION OR ALL SIX. 

When - FRIDAY EVENINGS; 7pm  **STARTING FEBRUARY 8th**

Where - Shrewsbury Counseling Center; 588 Main St. Shrewsbury, Ma  01545 (Same building as Willy's Steakhouse); Conference room

Cost - $30 per session. ($175 for all 6 sessions. Pre-Registration required)
